Two Years Back-to-Back!

Omeo District Health’s commitment to helping people remain independent and connected in their own homes has received national recognition. Home-Based Services Manager Leanne McKenzie has been named Australia’s Most Outstanding Regional Provider of Home-Based Care for 2026.

Leanne received the honour at the Enablement Awards in Melbourne, which celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding achievement across the disability care sector in Australasia.

This award recognises not only Leanne’s outstanding leadership, but also the dedication of the entire ODH Home-Based Services team. Their essential work supports people throughout Omeo, Swifts Creek, Ensay and surrounding communities, helping individuals live safely, independently and connected to the places they call home
